I doubt very seriously that you would make off colored jokes about black people, religious groups, or, dare I say, even gay people. On behalf of the entire trans community, I would like to request your anti-trans jokes and bits, and to take another look at your policy concerning the jokes that you tell on air. We have feelings, and we’re part of your listener base. Something that you have to understand is that we, as trans-people, are out there. All you’re going in there to do is to take a pee. Just the thought that someone may say something to you can be extremely uncomfortable. Let me say, that unless you’re transgendered, you have no idea what kind of a nightmare it can be to have to use the restroom in public, and be petrified by the idea of even going into the restroom. Earlier this year, John Boy & Billy Rock Roll Racing, a two-hour syndicated show, debuted. I have been very disturbed by a recent trend in your show, however. I find it fun and entertaining, especially considering the fact that I was raised in South Carolina, so it is quite culturally interesting. I have to say that for the most part, I appreciate your show. I’ve been a listener of your show for approximately twenty years. We as a community have the responsibility to tell everyone that we’re humans, just like they are, and that we shouldn’t be ridiculed just because we’re not exactly the same as they are.
